Professional Accomplishments:

Dr. Gallivan received his residency training in surgery at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. Dr. Gallivan’s scholastic acknowledgements include Top Student in Small Animal Surgery and membership in Phi Zeta Honor Society. Prior to joining Carolina Veterinary Specialists in 2008, Dr. Gallivan was the chief surgeon at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center in Buffalo, NY for nine years. Dr. Gallivan is also certified to perform Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery and Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) surgery.
